About Us

A colorful mural on a wall by a waterway.

At 2221 River Road, members have been gathering for decades, some logging 40 years on their membership cards. That kind of loyalty doesn't happen by accident. It happens because this Lodge actually delivers: a warm room, familiar faces, and evenings where two glasses of wine and two beers cost seven dollars total.

The Seneca Falls Elks serve more than drinks. Cornhole tournaments fill the hall with friendly competition, picnic-style dinners draw guests who came once and made it a habit, and the Lodge's charitable work threads through the local community in ways most members don't even advertise. The BPOE's national motto, "Elks Care, Elks Share," isn't a slogan here. It's a Tuesday.

Situated along the Seneca River corridor in one of New York's most historically significant towns, the Lodge carries on a tradition that stretches back to 1868 nationally. But what matters most is what's happening right now: neighbors inviting neighbors, first-time guests becoming regulars, and a community that shows up for each other long after the night ends.

What We Offer

The Lodge offers food and beverages at prices that feel like a throwback, because they are. Dinner nights feature hearty, straightforward cooking, think picnic fare done right, served in a social atmosphere that no restaurant chain can replicate. The bar is well-stocked and honestly priced.

Beyond the dining room, the facility hosts cornhole leagues, private events, and member gatherings throughout the year. The space is available for community functions, and the calendar stays busy with Lodge-sponsored activities that range from charitable fundraisers to casual game nights.

Membership opens the door to all of it. As a Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks lodge, joining means connecting with a national network of over 800,000 members while keeping your roots firmly in Seneca Falls. Prospective members must be U.S. citizens who believe in God. Ask any current member how to start the process, and they'll be happy to walk you through it.

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
